Journal Entry (for the past few days)

CNY 1st day
First: Uncle's (maternal) house. Watched white chicks - hilarious. Wore tight flat fronts black pants, with red singlet. Cousins. Aunts.

Second: Grandpa's (paternal) house. Uncle and Aunt were there with daughter. Stayed till 6pm.

Third: Babysitter's place. I call her Mama and her husband Papa, son Kor and daughter Jie. Sort of my 2nd mother. Had dinner (just like every year) there. The usuals - steamed chicken, mushroom, broccolli, lap cheong, soup. The specials - cockles, tofu with toppings.

Fourth: Jessica's place. Tonnes of people. Watched American Idol. Went to Lot 1 to watch movie with Huang, Jess and myself. Didn't get tickets to Constantine. Met up with Yun (Jess's cousin) and Kane (Yun's best friend). Nice people. Kane is really sweet. Goodness, he is huge!! 1.83m, broad shoulders. Giant.
Went back to Jess's place, played card games. Forced Jennifer and Jonathan to sleep so me, yanting and jess can chat. Chatted all night long. Such a nice night. Have not chatted with them like this since a long itme. I miss them! Chatted till 3:30am in the morn! Haha! Didn't really care about parents' lecturing anymore. Coz we miss each other too much i guess. Borrowed Jess's blades to go home. Such a ncie time to blade - 4am - quiet, no traffic! Slept at 5. Woke up at 12noon! Tired!

CNY 2nd day
Went to Aunts (maternal) place.
Went to Mom's friend's.
Went to Aunts (maternal) place.
Went to Mom's friend's.
Went home - bought KFC from Lot 1.
Yanting, Rich, Jency, KY came. Cool.
Slept at 0030.

School day - Friday
Half class absent.
Mr Lee looks pissed. Quotes, "The absence is upsetting" lol! And just realised he likes to whisper things in my ear. Quotes, "Tell the latecomers to come see me" lol!
Mr Lee cancelled civics. Got to go home earlier. He rocks!
Wanted to go to the gym with Kane. But too tired.
Slept at 4pm. Supposed to wake up at 6pm. Woke up at 9pm.
After dinner, slept at 12. Did nto do any tutorials!

Today
Woke up at 8. Supposed to be Legs and Back day. Too tired. Afternoon gig. Decided to go tomorrow.
Rehearsals at PS at 11. All were late, as usual. Rehearsed in the MRT (NEL) instead.
Head down to Pungguol MRT station. Waited for incompetent shuttle bus to Marina Country Club, promised 1255, came at 1320. Took a taxi instead.

Sound check super rushed. So farnie.
1st set was good (acc to Angie). Organiser is very pleased.
2nd set was crap. Probably all too tired to sing. Anyhow hamtam. No energy.

Went for Mang Guo Ping at Bencoolen street! Yum Yum!
Went to recky SVJ new location, Fig & Olive. Good acoustics. Place co-owned by radio DJ Adi. Nice guy. Very friendly. Of coursed, the lady boss was impressed with our nonsensical jam session. Sometimes, TAS Youth Voices actually sound better when we're just casually jamming instead of times during gigs. Haha! Irony!

Dinner at this dumb Chinese restuarant at the Esplanade with Angie. No one bloody speaks english! Talked alot.

Went to Lot 1 to meet up with Kane. Realised his real name is Jake, not Kane. Kane 'cos he looks like the WWE wrestler Kane when he shaves bald. So you can imagine how big sized he is, and he ain't fat! He's a power-lifter. Chatted for a long time, till 0030. Mom pisssed - coz promised her to be back by 2300.

Now writing blog. Just took a shower. Going to sleep now. Nite nite!
